2005 Dodge Caravan SE 2.4L Engine. Crank Shaft Sensor is located on the front of the engine (side toward the radiator) and right below the starter. Raise the vehicle on stands or ramps. From under the vechcle, unclip the wire plug. Loosen and remove the 8mm bolt. Pull out old sensor. This CAN be done WITHOUT removing the starter. Easiest way is to use a deep 8mm x 1/4” drive socket and good lighting. I had to use vise grips to grip and pul out the old sensor. It is okay to twist and pull. NOTE: I have seen many posts placing this sensor in all kinds of places. For this vehicle, this is where it is located. If you have a different engine or year, it could be located someplace else.
There are 2 o2 sensors on the caravan upstream+downstream
The downstream sensor is located on the exaust pipe at the
converter. As I don't know what engine you have, the upstream
sensors are located as follows
2.4 on exaust manifold firewall side of engine
3.0 on manifold near alternator
3.3+3.8 center of manifold firewall side
this is what your check engine light was telling you. code 12 battery input was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles. code 54 no camshaft signal detected during engine cranking. code 55 completion of fault code display on check engine lite. hope this will help you!! note: camshaft sensor is located in distributor on 3.0liter engine and on a 3.3liter and 3.8 liter engines its located next to the thermostat housing.
p0352 is ignition coil #2 primary circuit..the engine controller had these circuit problems in this model year..also have seen a crank sensor cause this fault also..if it's not the crank sensor, most likely engine controller
