Recently my check gauges light came on along with the check engine light and little light where it tells you which gear your on went out, MPH gauge and RPM gauges do not work and car runs like **** ever since. It feels like I'm forcing it to much like if it is not grabbing gear good. Do you think you might have an idea what is wrong here? I was thinking it might be an electrical problem or something besides the transmission, do you?

SOURCE: dashboard gauges out

There was a recall years ago on the ignition switch. Something wears and causes the switch to catch and hang a little so it doesn't spring back all the way to run position. The car runs but some of the other contacts are out of line or something. On mine it only happens occasionally and if I nudge the switch backwards just a little bit the dash lights and everything start working as it should. Or just shut it off and restart. Or go ahead and replace the switch itself.

SOURCE: rpm gauge, speedometer, & other gauges

This model always this problem, usually after about 90,000 miles and the other instruments will eventually follow. There are companies that will repair this for you just use google (instrumentclusters.com) to find them. I was charged 185.00 for the repair... GM wanted over 500.00!

2005 mustange fuel gauge not working..All other gauges work fine. It also has two check engine light codes along with it.

For the fuel gauge: This is due to a problem with the gears in the fuel gauge; there was a manufacturing defect that ford fixed in later years. The cheapest solution is to replace the gauge. I found a local mechanic that knew how to fix it, and did the job for $60. I recommend checking craigslist for a local person, because this is a very common problem.
As for the check engine light, you will probably have to take it to a dealer to have them look into the car's computer.

the speedometer/odometer problem sounds like the vehicle speed sensor, which is ususally found on your front wheels, the stalling out sounds like an unrelated problem, but i couldnt tell you where to start for that one

You said autozone - Tried to have auto zone diagnose from inside the car, came up with no codes. That's in the PCM - engine computer . There scan tool will not communicate with the instrument cluster ,which is also a computer in it's self. Need a factory scan tool to check instrument cluster.
