Have a shop test the system for leaks

No point in hurting yourself,letting air into the system,
to over charge & ruin it

If you have to add, it will leak out again,will it not, & continue
to pollute the air as it is now doing

Those cans should not be sold in stores

You need lot of knowledge/training in the law of physics
pertaining to refrigerant, to work on a/c systems

Freon WAS a Dupont trade name only & no longer used

They don't even own the refrigerant part of the business,it
has been sold to a hedge fund or capital management firm

sound like faulty fan control relay module.

what sizes motor dose it have n what year is it .that is a masted if you want to know h
ow to time it right

Look for a poor connection on the fuse link bundle.

Look in your glove box for the owners manual, Check the manual for the location of the fuse box and check the head light tail light fuses.

you should fix that leak because if run out of fluid then the pressure will be,ow and the transmission will be having troubles shiftting. and that willl cause heat too.

DTC 172 can be set by a variety of things from a bad Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor to a vacuum leak to a bad EGR system.

I would start with cleaning the MAF sensor.
