1984 nissan 300zx turbo 50th AE

How can I adjust my idle speed on my 84 300zx turbo which used to be an automatic but, I just finished to swap it to a manual 5 speed From an 88 turbo. As you know, the turbos have no idle control screws. Thank you!

Remove plug from air flow meter(air filter box) and adjust there. It will be on the top.

at idle ,if the tps is adjustable,with slotted screw mount holes,,while at idle move tps(with screws loose )untill idle sounds about right ,then tighten ,with out rpm meter hard to adjust just right ,but not crittical

I would suggest a few things ... first and the most important... check that you have the wires in the proper order on the distributer. next have the timing checked.

Loss of power at 2400 rpm's

Check your mass airflow meter. If it's bad, at least on my 1990 300ZX, the car won't rev over 2400RPM (it's a safeguard built into the ECU of the car). Grab one from a scrapyard and swap it in and see if that fixes the issue.
