Right side rear brake drags
Remove all rust from pad and caliper sliding surfaces,eg metal to metal,not the pins,they get synthetic brake lube. Apply anti-seize to all sliding surfaces. Make sure you can screw in the rear caliper piston,if applicable, and manually ratchet up the parking brake,after caliper and pads are on. Bleed/Flush all 4 Wheels. Make sure you can slide the pads back and forth,before lubing end tabs. You may need to file a little off the ends or just remove the paint. Make sure parking brake cables are really releasing.

Thinking of buying a 1999 3L 24v auto Espace RXE
all renault automatic gearboxes are weak i find later boxes weaker than the older units the zf are no better, ive seen these fail at 25,000 miles and older boxes usually last for 60,000-80,000 miles but with such a powerfull engine i would suspect heavy where would occur especially if it has been used for towing or school runs where the box is working hardest changing up and down. ures will have the older gearbox. good luck remember 20 mpg tops lol...

change parking light and both light will go out. service light lit, if anny other foult is present. if all lights are ok, check their consumption. (in W)
also check licence plate bulbs

yes there are seals inside the valve . its an easy part to replace but it has to be taken to renault to have the load spring reset to the correct pressure after refitting

your rear brake pads may be getting low, the hand brake is a self adjusting type, so to fix it...with the car turned off, release park brake, pump the brake pedal 10-15 times, it should auto maticly adjust itself
