1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 is the firing order. pass, side--2-4-6-8, drivers side-- 1-3-5-7, clockwise rotation on distributor. the cap should have a # 1 wire mark on it. if not, rotate engine buy hand at the crank nut on front of engine to tdc, take off dist. cap and this should be # 1 where rotor is pointing. if button is off 180 degrees, turn one full revolution to tdc, then check rotor button. when it gets to number 1 your set. that is youre number 1 wire location. have a good day !!
