2000 chevy silverado troubleshooting no heat. I have had in the fall either great heat or great air, but i couldnt switch during the day, overnight either would work fine. now i get great air but the heat just barley comes out, not even warm but i can tell the diff. between the two. expert online told me the lower actuator door was stuck, i replaced that. now i get great air and the warm is still slight. truck doesn't over heat is on normal temp. he said the lwer actuator was with the heat not the upper...its 30 below and i need help..thanks

Does this truck have dual climate or electric thermometer in the heat/ac control panel. if so the elec. therm. may be stuck and not allowing the temp to drop but so low in the truck therefore you get cold air but no heat because the therm. says it is already hot in the truck. hope this helps.

i had my ac stop blowing cold for some reason one day out the blue. put gadges on it and somehow my low side went to my high side.. no clue wtf happened but about 2 months passed and it was getting real hot out so i said the hell with it i was looking around under the dash and found the cabin air filters. i changed them and whadda ya know. just like that it was working beter the before. even blew harder! and costed me maybe 20 bucks

Had the same thing happen to my truck, the blen door actuator is under the console on passenger side, but the heater core is going to be clogged if you dont have any heat coming through, but a/c works..
