The 2003 on up Navigator is the worst designed and most expensive to maintain out of all the Ford systems, since Ford started in 1984. Do yourself a favor and do a Lincoln Navigator Air Suspension Conversion 03 06 Lincoln Navigator Air Suspension Conversion 03 06 and be done with the air....and be able to rely on this vehicle. Something you CAN'T do with the air.
My suggestion to you and all the other folks leaving questions on this board about collapsed air suspension systems in luxury cars is to fix that one by replacing it with a real spring and shock system which you can buy at www.strutmasters.com if it is economically feasible, then sell it and avoid air suspensions systems like the plague. There are legions of old 70s Citroens still sitting idle 30 years later on collapsed air suspensions systems in garages and barns all over the country which cars the buyers can't let go because they cost so damn much. Get a coleman air mattress and use it every day, see how long it really lasts.
please stop promoting strutmasters, I asked for a solution to my problem. Quite frankly I dont care what people think about air ride, I just came here to see if neone knew how to fix it.obviously not. I"ll have it figured out by tomorrow. Ill post it,here myself. Those of u with air ride, keep ur air ride. Its the nicest ride around.
