I have a 2002 Z3 coupe and ran into the same problwm with the rear wheels--M Roadster/Coupe have a lower offset than the standard Z3. I love the look of the deep dish roadstar wheel and wasn't about to give up. I found that shaving the inside lip of the fender a little and running 235 40 17 vs 245 40 17 tires will allow the tires to clear the fender without rubbing. I added a small black plastic door guard strip to cover the remaining inside lip for added tire wall protection. The wheels really don't stick out much and actually give the car a more aggressive look than having them tucked in like the M version. It's like having a wheel spacer already built it. If you want to see what it will look like, check out mine at: http://motorpulse.com/members/vphoto/steiner923/2002-bmw-3-0i-little-grey-beast/1897

I believe the fronts will fit, but the rears will not because the axel for the Z3M has a narrower width or track to allow for the wider M wheels. Spacers would not solve that. Some try to fit fronts on all corners, but the look is best with the wider rears. MJOwens

Are they easy to fit diy bmw z

Not sure about the bmw specificly BUT it is indeed hard, you need special tools and it's best left to a pro who will no doubt charge 1000 or more dollars to replace the convertable top.

How can i disable passanger air bag on 1999 z3

It's never a great idea to dis connect any safety feature on a vehicle. But should you wish to do so here are two possible options. BMW may have a key operated switch (usually ignition) to disarm the passanger side airbag (usually in the case of rear facing child seat being fitted) OR if you manually disconnect the airbag (NOT reccommended) you will have to insert a resistance into the passanger bag circuit of equivelant to the air bag that was removed. In order to maintain the self diagnosis check system.
