FPontiac G6 cigaret lighter fuse location

Most likely you shorted it out, and blew the fuse.

So........

Check the fuse.
I'll bet it's blown.

Change the fuse. Usually located on the side or under the driver side dash.

cigarette lights draw considerable current flow so look in the engine compartment for a fuse of at least 25 amps.. It will probably under a plastic cover and marked cig

The owner's manual would tell you. If the fuse box has a cover, it might show fuse locations.

There is a 20amp fuse for cigar-aux... It will be fuse #20.. Best of Luck

Engine compartment (left side), fuse #1 and #6. In MB cigar lighter only works when key is on.

I think you have a W211 if it's a sedan. W210 only goes thru 2002.

Also check the lighter filament. It may just be burned out.

The fuse box under the dash is where the Cig. Lighter fuse is. Remove the plastic cover from it and look on the inside, there is a diagram with the fuse number, name and location.

If by "power Outlets" you mean the cigarette lighter, the fuse is generally the same line as the interior lights, or the radio.
The Fuses are generally located in either of 3 places:
1. When you open drivers door - on the side of the dash a panel can be removed.,
2. Just directly under the steering wheel, perhaps a panel is right there, below and or to the left of steering, or under the dash at this location, again to the left of the steering wheel.
3rd, some fuses may be located in or behind, or under the glove-box.

There is also a power distribution center (a black box with fuses and relays) next to the battery under hood.  The cover can be removed and under the inside of the cover a description of fuses and relays are written here, typically.
The cigarette lighter fuse would be on the inside of the cabin in one of the areas as described above.

Take wires out of cigaret lighter , then replace fuse , if fuse stays ok without cigaret lighter connected then something shortning lighter inside.

check your owners manual for the fuse location for this and replace the fuse.
