Removing the power steering pulley in order to change power steering pump
Don't use a standard bearing puller it doesn't work and may damage the pulley. I went to a local parts store "Salvo" and they had a Ford Power Steering Pump Pulley puller. It works. It seems like you have to put as so much force into it that something would break, but no, it just starts to come off, worth all of the 17.00 I put into it.

On models equipped with a remote fluid reservoir, disconnect and plug the hose(s) in order to prevent system contamination or excessive fluid loss.
When installing the puller tool onto the power steering pump pulley, be sure that the pilot bolt bottoms in the pump shaft by turning the head of the pilot bolt.
