I would read the codes for help. Could be the gas cap seal has gone bad, or some other part of the emission system has leak.

SOURCE: Check Engine Light Comes on Intermittently

The P0141 code points to the O2 sensor heater circuit. It could be that there is a short in the wiring to the O2 sensor or it could be that the O2 sensor heating element itself is bad. The code is for O2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2. Bank 1 means its the O2 sensor connected to the exhaust pipe that runs to cylinder #1. Sensor 2 means that it is likely the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter on the same exhaust pipe.

SOURCE: code PO131

Code PO131 is O2 sensor circuit low voltage , bank 1, sensor 1. That sensor I would say is the one in the exhaust manifold. I would check voltage to the sensor from the computer. If the voltage is not 5 volts, then it could be a computer problem or a wiring problem. I have seen factory wiring and connectors give a voltage problem. Check for a damaged or burnt, pinched wire. You need to know for sure that the voltage is correct to the sensor. Intermittent problems are hard to trace , but patience and knowledge helps.

SOURCE: My emission light came on

Bring the Honda to a parts store to have them read stored engine codes to determine what's going on (a free service at most stores). They will plug a hand held scan tool into a diagnostic port under the dash, and 'read' any codes in the cars computer. They can explain what they mean and give advice on what to do. If you have any questions, post them with the code #;s here, we'll help.

SOURCE: 2004 Honda CRV Check Engine light

the check engine lamp is not affected by things like tyres, brakes etc. It shows that the vehicles engine management system had detected a fault with the engine or engine sensors. Check the engine for broken or disconnected wiring (maybe it was disconnected during the replacing of the hoses but not reconnected). If you fail to locate anything, check the manual for the correct fault code retrieval procedure or take the vehicle to a professional. Tyres may affect your ABS system or Airbag systems but they usually have their own warning lamp and are unrelated to the check engine lamp..

2009 crv check fuel cap

Go to the parts store where you bought the cap. Sometimes the code clears on it's own and sometimes you need to have it reset. If this is not an option disconnect the negative battery cable for a minute. Just as a warning, if you disconnect the battery you will have to reprogram most all of your electronics.

the vehicle randomly runs a test on the vehicle to test the emissions, if the cap was loose it will trip the light. if it is tight the next time it runs the test it will turn the light off.

How many clicks do you need to turn the gas cap on honda crv, 2000

Three should be sufficient, look on gas cap it usually says, or in owners manual, but three will work. If there is a problem sealing get a new cap they are cheap.

A facut light is on an the car revs to two while in park

I don't exactly know which light you are referring to. If it is your check engine light (it is the second from the left in a block of four possible lights in the upper left of your instrument cluster, and it has a little engine outline in it), that means that your computer is saying that there is something wrong with your emission control system. The most common cause for that light, by the way, is a loose gas cap (not tightened down at least three clicks) or overfilling the gas tank (going past the nozzle click on the pump), but it could be other things which have to be checked at Honda service, or a service station that can scan your OBDII connector for the codes which will indicate the problem more concisely.
I would check my gas cap first. Also understand that just tightening the cap will not make the light go out immediately; it takes at lease three driving trips before it goes out. If it doesn't go out after three trips, better get it in to check for codes.
Hope this helps you understand what is going on.
