Can u please give me an idea where is the crank shaft sensor really located at on a 98 dodge plymouth voyager

3.0 3.3 and 3.8 liter engines look down on the back side of the engine on the firewall side. It will be under the crossover exhaust pipe and bolted to the transmission. It will have three wires going to it.

THE 2.4L ENGINE CRANKSHAFT LOCATED ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE ENGINE BLOCK ABOVE THE REAR OF THE ENGINE MOUNT. THE 3.3L 3.0L 3.8L ENGINES CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR LOCATED UPPER PART OF TRANSAXLE BELLHOUSING ABOVE THE DIFFERENTIAL.

Last time I did it on a 97 Sebring (another chrysler product) it was on the Bell housing on the firewall side close to the engine block. Almost impossible to get any tool on it. I was told by a mechanic that the best way to remove was to use a low heat torch since it was mostly plastic.

Torque setting for harmonic balancer / pulley on the 2.5 and 3.0 engine is 132 ft/lbs

97 plymouth voyager. no spark to cylinders

WELL I AM LOOKING AT AUTOMATIC SHUT RELAY BAD OR THE BAD COIL POWER TRANSISTOR.YOU WILL NEED A SCANNER TO TELL YOU IF YOUR CMP SENSOR OR CKP SENSOR IS WORKING.
