What does 4 arrow up mean, and the 4 arrow down mean. On the left side the little gas symbol comes on at the top what does that mean?

You need to hook up a professional grade scan tool and check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes. That would tell you what's wrong. Not just replacing parts.

Or as I normally say, the "let's try replacing this" method of auto repair seldom works and is expensive. Diagnose and replace.

on a remote it means left or right , left pointing arrow less than right pointing arrow more than . ( ) means do this first. " symbol for inches as in length.

This indicates a low level of coolant in the coolant bottle/resevoir..... this symbol represents the radiator or coolant system liquid level.

Warning comes on to warn of coolant level too low.

When the engine is cold...remove the cap and check level. Add 50/50 antifreeze/water to level indicated on the side of the coolant bottle or tank.

Reservoir Bottles/tanks are usually transparent and you can see the coolant level through the plastic.

When coolant topped off to correct level, lamp will go out automaticly...no need for scanner or shop to turn it off. It will come on as a 'self check' when you turn on the ignition and if level is okay will go out when engine starts.

this symbol usually indicates that the radiator is low on coolant. on some cars a similar light means low washer fluid. so check both of them.
