4 questions where is fuel filter located on 2005 hyundai accent hatchback is it possible to have timing belt on accent jump enough to not start but not actually break is there anything known on accent that wont show up in code that could cause not to start is it possible to get spark but have broken timing belt thanks forr your help
Yes the belt can jump. so have a shop verify the marks, if it has jumped, replace it and the idler and tensioner. The fuel filter is in the tank, so dont bother until the pump needs replacement. Yes it can spark with a belt skipped. the crank sensor is what spark based on.

Yes its possible to have snapped belt but the sensor is on the crank so it will spark ,just take the cover off the front of the timing belt and see if its turning ,if you dont know how to do any of this then please ask a local mechanic to have a look for you before you damage something
