These are evaperative emmisions code 440 is a general evap malf 446 is a small leak code. sometimes these codes are set after fueling, if the fuel cap is not correctly installed. or if the fuel cap has been lost and replaced with one that does not seal well.
My car have a similar problem an the issue was the evap selenoid cable broken in the plug.
Three evap solenoids to replace. about $40 a piece from Toyota. They go bad over time.

Do you mean P0446 since I'm guessing you removed the P and 0 from the beginning.
This is related to your Fuel system
Your gas cap may not have been tightened fully (this usually generates a different code though)
Your purge solenoid may be malfunctioning
Your canister may be clogged

I am having a multiple cylinder misfire on my 2006 Toyota RAV4 with the 3.5L V6. Every cylinder is reporting a mifire. Each cylinder has it's own coil. I highly doubt that all 6 coils went bad at once. Does anyone have any idea what my be causing this?? Is that the problem you two are having?
