#1 could be a clogged heater needing flushed #2 could be a malfunctioning warm/cold air door motor located under the dash. #3 could be the temp controls on the dash.

No heater controls no blower or ac fuses good 89 jaguar xj6

My 93 xj6 doesn't blow or anything but I found that if I kick the blower under the string wheel. It comes on. Then it's blowing cold on the dash and hot out the center counsel. Where do I kick to fix that? There are buttons that light up by the steering wheel. That look like the seat heater button. Is there a way to choose to make the thing blow cold in front and hot in back? 989-657-2563

I have a jaguar s type , year 2000 , the heater is only blowing cold air

Sounds like your heater core could be blocked up or a blockage in the pipes. Most car heaters run off a heater core that cycles hot water from the engine's water jacket, or a heat exchanger around the exhaust manifold, through the core, with a fan then blowing this hot air through the vents to you. If the pipes from the water jacket to the heater core are blocked then no hot water will get through. Alternatively, the heater core or pipes may be damaged and leaking. Check to ensure you're not losing any coolant. If it's the heater core, there's really nothing for it but to replace it. I'm not 100% sure where it would be on your car, on my old car it was up behind the centre console, under the dash. Hope that helps. Cheers, John

My heater is not blowing hot air, i have a jaguar s type

look under the hood to be sure the heater lines are ok and hooked up also look for a shut off valve - some people shut off the heater core for the summer -
also check all fuses if it is not blowing or is an all electric control on the dash -

03 JAGUAR S-TYPE A.C. PROBLEMS

the heater control valve is often the cause of this. there are 3 metal lines running down the right fender, if 2 are hot and 1 is not with AC on max the valve has most likely gone bad,
