This is the Diesel Cabin Heater. It will only come on when it is cold and comes on automatically when you start the car. If you do a short journey you will often see smoke coming out and occasionally hear some noise. It can continue to run for a few minutes. There are no controls for it but you will see a yellow light on the dashboard next to the right hand indicator light. It will only operate if it is cold and you have more than 100-120 miles of fuel left in the tank.
i assume you put a new battery in,van runs but no radio or clock, check all your fuses first, and also make sure that radio doesnt have anti theft system, if it does then read your manualy on how to enter the code,if it needs a code then it wont work until code is entered, careful if you do the code entering wrong three times then radio shuts down for one hour, then you would need to have the key on or van running for one hour straight,
You can try disconnecting the battery, some times that work's, also have the a/c system check for freon pressure could be low being they did body work and maybe had to remove an a/c hose.
Hi , If you turn on the headlights on dip/full beams , then crank the engine and see if the lights dim considerably ........... If the do it's a battery voltage type problem, If they don't it's a starting motor type problem . ie open circuit or dud starter,
Sounds like starter selanoid, but first make sure battery connections are clean and tight, if sure they are then turn on headlights and try to start if still clicks and lights dim its starter.
