Pull on the hand brake, loosen wheel nuts , chock front wheels, jack up the car on the rear wheel side, remove road wheel, release hand brake and remove brake drum, remove axle lock nut , the hub with the bearings will slide off the axle, if the bearings are shot a slide hammer puller may be used, replace bearings and seal . I don't think the axle will be damaged. Time wise around 1.5 Hrs.

What are going to do to repair the axle? There really is no axle on front drive cars, the wheel assembly is connected to a hub that is mounted to the frame through swing arms. And, you would not take your car to a autobody shop for mechanical work. The cost of repairs depends on what is being done.

Bent rear axle on a 2006 toyota corolla

you need to google "auto recyclers" and/or "junkyards" in your area. Most of the larger ones now have searchable online inventories. You need to buy a straight rear axle out of a wrecked Toyota, and pay someone to install it. That will save you hundreds over a dealer, but it will not be cheap.

The car will have to be aligned when it is done, so have a shop do it which also does alignments.

Where are the chrysler pacifica 2006 lift points for lifting it up onto a hoist.

VECHICLE LIFT POINTS IS WHERE FACTORY TIRE JACK GOES. WHERE YOU SEE NOTCHES IN FRONT AND REAR ROCKER PANEL.THATS THE LIFTING POINTS TO KEEP CAR CENTER GRAVITY.IF NOT SURE GO TO A GARAGE THAT HAS LIFT.ASK A MECHANIC OR TIRE SHOP THAT HAS A LIFT. THERE A DRIVE ON LIFTS AND DOUBLE POST COLUMN LIFTS YOU HAVE TO USE FRONT SUSPENSION AND THE REAR AXLE HOUSING TO SUPPORT VECHICLE.FOR SAFETY SAKE CHECK AROUND FIRST DONT GUESS I HEARD OF A MECHANIC LIFT CADILLAC ON COLUMN LIFT. DID NOT HAVE VECHICLE TO CENTER OF GRAVITY.CADILLAC FELL OFF LIFT CRUSHED HIM. SO IF YOU DO HAVE A COLUMN LIFT FIRST TIME USING IT LET GARAGE DO IT.YOU EITHER DAMAGE VECHICLE OR GET FATALLY HURT.

I have a vibration on my 2002 Toyota Corolla which is causing the rear tires to wear out prematurely

It sounds like worn out wheel bearings. It could also be combined with separated treads on the tires. If you have backed into a curb and thrown the rear end out of alignment you may have to go to frame shop to correct the problem. If the rear axle is actually bent you may have to replace the axle(no way to realign a bend).

1990 toyota corolla - knocking (clattering) when turning to the left - sounds like coming from wheel, but then it sounds like it coming from middle of car -

check your cv axles, then check your wheel bearings on both axles by lifting car and shaking you tire left to right, up and down. if there is free play you need to replace front wheel bearings

2001 Toyota Corolla LE 4 door rear axle noise I believe

First thing I would do is to get a chassis lube job. Many places that do oil changes will also do a chassis lube for you at the same time. The axle bearings can get dry and do require lubrication. If left to long without a lube job, pits can form inside the bearing and will require replacement.

Corolla bearings

The front wheel bearings are pressed into the knuckle. You need to remove the axle nut, make sure to unstake the nut as to not damage the axle threads, and brake assembly, slide hammer the hub off then remove abs sensor if you have one then remove tie rod end, lower ball joint bolt and nuts, then the strut bolts. After the knuckle is off you will see a circlip on the inside by the bearing remove this then press the bearing out on a shop press. If you don't have a new hub you will also have to use a bearing splitter to get the bearing race off the hub to reuse it.Reverse process for reassembly.Hope that helps as it is not just a bolt on repair.
