My '95 F250 Diesel will randomly act like it's gonna stall when I'm driving (RPMs go way down, doesn't accelerate when I push the gas). If I cut it off and restart it, it drives fine for a while then does the same thing. Got the fuel system reworked a month ago for a similar problem, it's worked fine since then. Any ideas?

SOURCE: How do I adjust the

looking at the switch there will be 2 nuts on the shaft. loosen nuts and adjust so button is pushed in while pedal is in up position, push down on pedal and make sure button comes all the way out and brake lights come on, then tighten nuts and you are finished.

Hestitation almost to the point of stalling

I would focus on fuel delivery including fuel pressure. Any of the sensors would turn the check engine light on, but low fuel pressure would not. Fuel filter, problem with a line going to the tank, debris inside the tank blocking the pump, etc.

Car stalls when stopped, cuts out when accelerating to HWY spds.

You could have a bad or intermittent fuel pump. Not a cheap thing to have.

An OBD 2 scanner can read fuel pressure on the drive to see if your fuel pressure drops off at odd times to confirm. It can also tell if there are transcient vacuum leaks at idle which the engines idle air control cant compensate for.

Do the plugs, wires and cap too.

Have you checked your fuel filter or fuel pump as these can cause your engine to to shut off, but there usually is some sort of warning, but not always.
