Why not just bring the bad fuse in to the store and have them match a new one to it?

  • Anonymous Nov 29, 2010

Ahhh i would have, the only problem is, it was working fine, then my brother removed it and dropped it, never to be found again. might be sitting somewhere in the engine, we checked the ground to no avail. i just want to know the fuse name, and a fuse number.... its not that hard is it!!

3.0 or 3.9 liter?

I don't see anything in the power distribution diagrams labeled as "ignition fuse module"

So I went to the lincoln website and found an owners manual

Page 188 and 189 show the underhood fuse block. I hope this helps.

Where is fuse for tail light of 2004 mercury mountaineer

Tail lights. Not exactly sure if you may be talking about like the park lamps when you turn the lights on or if you are talking about the brake lights. I just want to be sure I am giving you the correct information. If you are talking about the park lamps and you are just having problems with the rear ones, then you are dealing with an electrical issue. Below is a the location of the fuse panel as well as a diagram of the fuse layout. I have marked the fuse that covers the park lamps. The thing is this would also be the front, side and the power to the head light switch so if you are having just rear park lamp problems, again it would be an electrical wiring problem. If you are talking about the brake lights, in that same panel fuse number 25 would be the one to check (not marked with an arrow). Both of them are 15 amp fuses. Hope this helps....

Trying to find the fuse for the power mirrors and dome light dont know which fuse is which

There are 2 different fuses for what you are talking about. See picture below; the fuse for the power mirrors is in the number 4 position and is a 10 amp fuse. This fuse covers the power mirrors, glove box lamp, map lamps and under the hood lamp. The fuse for your dome lights is in the number 14 position and is also a 10 amp fuse. This fuse not only covers the dome lamps but it also covers the cargo lamp, courtesy lamps and the running board lamps. If you are just having problems with the two things you mentioned then you may be looking at something else like a wiring problem. this all should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you need an owners manual you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy at no cost. I hope this helps you and good luck. here is your picture:

Blow fuse dont seem to locate which fuse it is not in owerns book

If you cannot locate the fuse, how do you know the fuse is blown?
Please review this article: Where's The Fuse?

Once you have read and understand the article above, I can probably help you locate the problem with your car. Only, I would need to know exactly what kind of car we are talking about (YEAR,MAKE, MODEL,ENGINE SIZE, AUTO OR MANUAL TRANSMISSION, Etc.) Then I would have to know exactly what is not working that you are trying to fix.
