Problem with the 1992 Mazda MX-3 1992 mazda mx3 heater blows warm, not hot....... Already done: 1. reniewed the thermostate 2. checked upon heather (in car) by noticed the inlet is hot, the outlet however is only a bit warm. disconnect the hose from the outlet an strange, there comes water out. motor running also with a very littel pressure. Am I right to suppose the problem could stiil be the heater? Perhaps not enough water throuhput? Can you advice what to do? regards, Ted

If it ran out of water and you filled it up just before the problem started then their may be air in the system so will need bleading. If that's not the problem then could be a sticking thermostat. Vheck these first and let me know if you need further help I can advise further. Cheer's

SOURCE: 1992 mazda mx3 heater blows warm, but not hot.

Hot air is dependent on the coolant temperature and the heater core. There are several things that can cause your problem. The easiest to check is the coolant level in the radiator\reservoir. There must be enough coolant to flow freely between the engine and the heater core. The next is the thermostat. If the thermostat is not closing it would prevent the the coolant from reaching a high enough temperature to allow for hot air. The thermostat is not expensive or difficult to replace. The third thing is a blockage in the heater core. Flush the coolant system properly can sometimes take care of this. If it does not the only alternative is a new heater core.
Hope this helps.

My car is not hot air and the antifreeze liquid inside the cab beside the driver its a mazda mx3 1992

If no heat from heater its likely low on coolant, and antifreeze in cab on the floor means its probably leaking from the heater core.

My mazda 1992 mx3 it runs great cold but after warm up it spits and sputters and runs rich can you help please what could it be

Hi,

This sounds like you have a faulty coolant sensor switch which is telling your computer that the engine is still cold.

Replace this and you should fix this problem.

Thanks

CV Joint Replacement '92 Mazda mx3

I suggest getting a service manual. If you've never done one before, a book will explain a vehicle specific order of operations. Chiltons or Haynes are good. consider it $20 insurance. Good Luck.

I have a 1996 mazda mx3,,v6,,I need to find the plug in for the block heater,,can someone help

The block heated pluggin is located directly below the head of the motor by the firewall, above the transmission. It's hard to find. Look in the online workshop manual for more information

Mx3 idle

your throttle body is dirty and needs to be cleaned- also, you might want to check the spring and the various parts on the throttle itself for wear and tear.

the intake for air and the flutter wing could also be hanging up inside the air intake
