How much will it cost me to fix the front fender that is loose? I must have been hit by someone at the parking lot. It is not coming off, but looks ugly. Can I do it myself or do I have to goto a Body Shop?

have someone drive it while you listen from outside the car. this could be achieved in a parking lot. it could be an inner fender touching your tire when you get up to speed due to air hitting it.

Is the key to air-condition works , a/c light come on . let me know .

yes definably should been taken care of before the alignment was done
u can' t get a accurate alignment done with loose parts up front (ball joints get loose before they break)
and under most circumstances ball joints don't totally fail in a 2 month period of time

Now if your daughter drives on a lot of rough roads or hits a lot of pot holes and ball joint was dry (not greased in long time) (alignment shop should at least greased front end parts if possible some factory and cheap aftermarket ball joints are sealed and u cant grease them) There a slight chance ball joint could failed that soon but i highly doubt it

Now should u go back to shop ?? call them and explian to them what happened and see if they will warranty there work if they will more than likely day u brought in your car they where busy and behind and it just got over looked
if they wont warranty there work i would go some where else they did bad job first time and wouldnt want them doing same again

Far as cost goes that a hard one to tell u cause shops labor rates greatly across the country and even from shop to shop in same towns
for cost i would make a couple calls to few shops and get a ball park figure for your area

C V Joints can make a lot of noises. Sounds to me like you either bent the inner fender or if it is plastic you may have pulled it loose and it looks normal but it is just sitting in place with the push pins out of their intended holes. When you turn and or hit a high speed it hits the wheel/tire. Try putting on some gloves and then pulling medium strength on the fender well and surrounding areas to see if that is the problem -

if the wheel got pushed in and if the body is pretty damaged up than usually the unibody frame is going to be bent so more than likely they will total it

It very well could be a ball joint, but I would check your strut tower. When they come loose, they hit the fender where the connection is. Pop the hood, and look where the tower comes up, push down on the fender and see if it moves. That may be your problem. Hope that helps

check your wheel well plastic that goes underneath the fender... i had the same problem a couple days ago and i notice that the strut was hitting plastic.. either screw it back on or tuck it in somewhere..

You have a short to ground in the tail light circuit. This is most likly in the truck, from maybe loading the truck with something that might have pinched a wire. Look carefully at the wiring that might be in an area of the truck where something might have pinched the wire. If you find a problem, and it wont take much of a pinch, just enough to get through the insulation, put a bit of electrical tape around it and you are fine.

The problem could also be in the front parking lights, this is the same circuit. Look under the front fender wheels or where ever the wiring runs to see if something has cut any wires. Maybe a wire clamp has come loose in the engine compartment where these front parking light wires run. See if you can follow the wires from both the front parking and from the tail lights looking for evidence of damage

Noises are even for someone "on site" somewhat difficult to diagnose. Look under the vehicle to make sure nothing stupid is going on, such as a plastic bag stuck to one of the driveline components. While under there, check that nothing that is supposed to be attached isn't.
Best thing you can do is have someone put it up on a lift and just run it to see where the noise is coming from. I could sit here all day guessing and never hit on a solution.
