It sounds like the cluster is gone bad if everything is not working. Usually, if just the speedometer isn't working then it's the speed sensor on the transmission that has gone bad. But I think you have a cluster that has just died. Check on EBAY for a used cluster and ask them to roll the mileage to what is on your vehicle now.
Testimonial: "WELL, I'LL CHECK IT OUT. THANKS FOR THE INFO, IT MAY HAVE SAVED MONEY I DON'T HAVE"
The rpm, oil, water gas and everything else is working perfectly, it's just the speedometer \r\nthats crapped out
sounds like its the speed sensor located by the transmission.
dont buy yet a $150 speed sensor....change the speedometer cable...it controls everything, the speedometer, odometer and trip meter. around $30 for parts, remove cluster, remove cable from cluster and transmission, put a new one and that will solve it.
I have looked for my cable on my truck and cant find it , somtimes my speedometer will bounce up and down on my 92 toyota truck and even looked for the cable one time when changing out the clutch , any ideas????????
