Hello. I have a 07 pontiac g6 convertible and the hardtop is stuck in the down position. Ive seen this problem repeatedly on numerous sites but no real solution. Dealers claim they wont deal with it...

check and test relays fuses and all connections --- the electric hydraulic lift motor ---lift ram and linkages --to close disconnect linkages and actuator and carefully lift up and lock into place this will give more access to the system

Rear window and rear wiper do not work. Check all fuses and they are good.

Check the relays that may be part of system, seized and stuck from lack of use.

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6. My horn quit working. It is not a fuse. I have checked all 3 fuse boxes. What else could it be?

The horn it self try jumping it with a wire from the battery if it doesn't work then you need to replace it

turn the key on and hold the window button in up position for ten seconds ,turn key off and then open door and close it , window should go up .

each window has a circuit breaker most of the time that i find them not working is the wire breaks inside the rubber boot between the door and the body

07 Pontiac G6 (4 door, sedan) all 4 windows won 't work. Fuse is ok.

fuse ok but may be the relay is not ok sir
check the power windows relay

I have no power to the tag lamp socket on my 2006 G6 Pontiac? Where is the fuse located for this socket or where is it tied into the wiring harness? I appears to go straight down behind the rear bumper!...

Common to blow that fuse if you have a trailer light hookup and it gets wet and/or shorts out on a trailer with bad wiring. It is in the fuse box under the hood. Box will have a rectangular black plastic cover marked FUSES. On the underside of the box is a diagram as to which fuse governs which wiring circut. Usually a 10 amp fuse for that one you blew.

The 2007 Pontiac G6 engine compartment fuse block is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the battery. The wiring circuits in Pontiac G6 are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses, circuit breakers and fusible links. This greatly reduces the chance of damage caused by electrical problems. Below diagram and table shows 2007 Pontiac G6 Engine Compartment Fuse Panel, Relay and the Circuit Protected.
