I have a 2000 Acura TL 3.2 as well. 10 years now. It's an unavoidable fact that the CD players just do not play home made CD burns, period. A suggestion from me is go to www.acurazine.com and look through the forums. It is a wealth of everything you'd want to know on your Acura on this topic and just about everything else.

CD Player in Acura TL 3.2 2003

It's not that hard to fix it yourself.

for your 2003 TL
1. first remove the CD player (this is the hard part).
2. with the CD player removed, unscrew the top cover (4 or 5 screws) on the CD player.
3. with the top cover removed you can see the stuck CD.
4. all you have to do now is just push the CD out and reinstall

should be the same for your 04 TL but im not sure

2000 Acura 3.2 TL CD Player/Radio

I had this same problem with my wife's 2000 TL. Even when new it would play packaged CD's okay but not ones that were burned. Eventually, it would not even play the packaged ones. I took it to an auto stereo place and they said the laser is the problem. I had the unit serviced and it worked great for a while but now again will not play burned CD's very well.
