'91 Ford Mustang LX clutch part

I am looking for the small part that keeps the longer clutch cable in place under the car. The one on my car fell off, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. None of the local parts stores seem to know what I'm looking for. Can you help? Thanks.

    That is not a solution.

I'm sorry to hear about that clutch cable! I'll be honest, I'm not an expert on car repairs. My own car just broke down last week actually and I've just been looking online at to try and find spare parts to fix it with. I think a lot of the websites that sell auto parts have pictures, maybe you could try looking for a visual match online.

You can probably pick it up cheaper at most aftermarket mustang part suppliers. Just type it in the internet and see what comes up. Dont buy anything from the dealer if you can help it.

It is a ford part only which mean you can only get it from ford. go to any ford dealer and talk to the parts people. it's about a 25.00 part

How adjust the clutch on 2001 ford mustang 3.8

Per the Ford owners manual:

The clutch on your

vehicle is operated by

a cable. As necessary, adjust the clutch as described

below.

1. Turn the engine off and shift into 1 (First).

2. Put your foot under the clutch pedal and gently

pull it up until the pedal stops.

3. Push the clutch pedal down slowly. You will hear a
click as the clutch adjusts itself.

91 ford mustang clutch is stiff and makes a loud squealing noise

Sounds like the actual pressure plate but you won't be able to confirm without dismantling it.

Power to fuel pump on 91 ford mustang cobra 5.0

The ignition module sends a "pip" signal to turn on the fuel pump and keep it running. If the signal is lost, or not present you get no pump. This is a safety in case of accident or other hazard in order to shut off the fuel so it wont keep pumping into a car with the key still on but engine disabled for some reason. Take the module to your local parts store and have it tested, for free to check.

Sound like you've been told right. Either your pressure plate (the thing that hold the clutch disk firmly against the flywheel) or the throw out bearing is bad. Does it make any noise when you hold the clutch in?

Car repair

i had the same problem just a little bit ago with my 91 mustang lx 2.3L. b. If you are not getting and sparks from your coil packs then im going to guess this is where the problem is. start by replacing all spark plugs and wires. if this does not work it most likely the coil packs ,But if there is spark then its your timing belt.

A/c not working

because it isn't frozen and the complete pulley hasn't stopped moving this leads me to believe that one of two things are wrong here.

1)the clutch may be done and need replacing
2)there may be a wiring issue or a bad switch
