I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado that has less than 50000 miles. All of the sudden I am hearing an intermittent metallic crunching sound in the driver’s side front end. it seems to me more when i turn right than any other time.. I pulled the front tires off and find no leaking fluids, or anything loose.. Any suggestions???

It seems to be a bad wheel bearing or bad universal joint on tranaxle. Where CV joints and tie rods are located. Check all the above.Take to repair shop for a quote.

Wow, sounds like a good one, my only suggestion would be, try changing or machining the brake rotor and double checking to make sure all the caliper hardware is torqued up tight. Possibly a tire? Try switching side to side.

SOURCE: My Chevrolet silverado ss abs light came on?

Take the wheel off and check the brake pads, they are probably worn down, and the metal backing on the disc brake pad is rubbing against the rotor. If that is the case, the rotor will need to be replaced, or turned down if it isn't too bad.

It sounds like a mast jacket bearing but if you have had the problem while still under warranty you should be able to argue successfully for it to still be under warranty.

soory to say this but it sounds like its time for a trany overhaul, this happens, even if you had no warning signs, you got 159,000 miles out of it but now its time for a rebuilt trany, this truck is a 1999 4wd with a good engine its worth repairing, good luck.

I have a crunching sound coming from the front wheels when applying the brakes at a low speed and only after I drive the car a few miles

sounds like the pads have worn down, or there's debris between the pads & rotor. in my personal experience, the stock rotors from hyundai don't hold up very well. i replaced pads (front and rear) at around 45K miles, and had the stock rotors turned down. less than 1K miles later, the front rotors were already warped! there have been many complaints about hyundai's rotors, so i replaced mine with a set of raybestos rotors and also put ceramic pads up front. 20K miles later, they're still working great.

My 1990 chevy silverado suddenly wont start. It started just fine until this afternoon and suddenly doesn't even turn over. What can I do?

when you turn the key you should hear an electric clik sound from under the steering column. If not your ignotion switch is bad, not the cylinder where the key goes but the switch. If you do hear a click, then check your starter soleniod. This happened to me 3 weeks ago and it was my starter.

Your problem is too vaguely stated to make a proper diagnosis, but it definitely sound like you have some damage occurring.
Time to have it checked out soon at a service center.
