Find out the engine size. my guess would be 5 or 6 quarts, but might depend on the engine.

look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oldsmobile_88#1992.E2.80.9399

then lookup engine. engine size is often displayed on air cleaner or somewhere under the hood.

once you get the right engine it will say. usually listed in the back of users manual. you could seach online for your manual if you dont have it.

you could try 4 quarts check level on dipstick, add another quart check, then add another or another 1/2 quart.

good luck.

How do u install the stabalizer link on a 1992 olds 88

Locate the old link, it is one bolt that holds isolators and washers around the stabalizer bar to keep it from moving up and down, and eliminates body torsional twisting.

Remove the old link-you may have to cut it off if it is rotted, and replace it as the old one was, there is one stabilizer link on each side of the stabilizer bar so if one is broke, look at the other side to see how the isolators and washers go.

Always replace both of these , never just replace one. Good practice and not expensive. (They may come in pairs, depending on where you buy them.)

Pretty simple once you attack it.
