Got a p1633 DTC. What does it mean.

From what I understand, it has to do with the "Keep Alive Power" having the circut interrupted. If the battery has been disconnected recently or if it has died, that would be the cause of it. If this isnt the case, I would inspect all wiring for any opens, shorts, blown fuses ect. The PCM being bad is also a possibility

2003 Chrysler Town & Country po171 code

DTC P0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)
Basically this means that an oxygen sensor in bank 1 detected a lean condition (too much oxygen in the exhaust). On V6/V8/V10 engines, Bank 1 is the side of the engine that has cylinder #1.

Note: This DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) is very similar to P0174, and in fact your vehicle may show both codes at the same time.

I would suggest that you take a look at the front oxygen sensor. Typically speaking the oxygen sensor causes this code to appear. Here is the possible cause list from the manual for your car.

Trouble Code: P0171 (2.5L V6 Auto) - Fuel System Lean (Bank 1)

Possible Causes:
Air leaks in intake manifold, exhaust pipes or exhaust manifold
Base engine mechanical problem causing a lean A/F condition
Fuel control Sensor is out of calibration (e.g., ECT, IAT or MAP)
Fuel delivery component fault (clogged filter, low fuel pressure)
O2 element is contaminated, deteriorated or it has failed
Vacuum hose is disconnected, broken, leaking or loose

Hope this helps (remember to rating this answer ans leave us a testimonial comment). Thank you for using FixYa.

Hi i have a ford focus 1.6 lx 06 on a 55 plate . Recently i have had problems with the dash board, i have seen online how to do a self diagnostics through the ordometer and i have the DTC codes D900 abd...

I was unaware of what these codes mean because on 1996 and later vehicles, cars are equipped with an OBD-II system which requires a scan tool that costs less than $100, these days.

The codes I see start with P or U, not D or E. And there are hundreds of them. If you scanned the codes using an obd-II scanner, and not the dash, I could tell you about that.
---
However, I looked at the Internet, and it said on the following forum that D900 meant a constant lean or rich condition:

http://forums.focaljet.com/duratec-tuning/478154-dtc-code-d900.html

The DTC E200 came up with the following link where it says invalid odometer data:

http://www.talkford.com/topic/127543-self-diagnostic-test/

After reading over your problem, it became apparent that this may not be a U.S. model due to the engine size not being 2.0L. Is this a U.S. or another country's model, since I didn't see that engine size listed?

03 implana dying on me after my message center lights flash

If there is a Auto Zone around your area, have then scan the car for the DTC codes that the check engine light is indicating. Auto Zone scan free of charge and can give you the recommendation to address the issue the car's computer has detected. The other reason that the car has stalled at you is the fuel filter may be at the end of it's life and may need to be replaced. The fuel filter should be replaced every 15,000 miles or once a year to ensure that your fuel system is trouble free. You did mentioned that the low battery light came on which would indicate that the alternator's voltage regulator or rectifier may have gone bad and it's time to replace the alternator which the check engine light may be indicating in it's DTC history. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help you get your car running 100% again soon.

My car died code 1255

that is two codes, niether mean any problem, here are the difinitions,
12 Battery Disconnect Direct Battery input to PCM disconnected within last 50 ignition key-on cycles. Normal if battery has been disconnected, otherwise check battery power and ground connections

A DTC 55 is used to end all DTC messages. This code does not show on the DRB tool and indicates a completion of the stored codes on the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (check engine lamp).

Diagnostic Trouble code E510

remove your postive battery cabel for 10 mins to clear all of the codes, if it persists, take it up to autozone and tell them you need a trouble code done, it is free and will tell them exactly what is wrong.
