Drivers side vent not blowing cold air seems hot has ATC and rear and pass, side seems to be cold
It is not a coolant leak. Nice try though. It is possible that the infra red temp sensor is faulty, also it may be a mode door(directs air flow in the heater box) or a mode door actuator. Your dealer can test for proper door actuation, and can also check temperature difference, some is not uncommon, but it depends on the temp setting, is this a dual zone, or tri-zone atc unit?
My mom had the same problem, when I ran the diagnostic of the HVAC unit, it apparently corrected itself and it is running fine. Here is the link to where I got this information: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Chrysler-Repair-807/99-Chrysler-Town-Country.htm
If it works, send me thanks. [email protected]

I have 2002 T&C Limited. Ac will be cold on passenger side, driver side hot. The weird thing is one day everything works fine next day passenger side will be cold and sometimes no cold air at all. I have had it in the shop twice. They say its low on freon but can't find leak. They put a charge on it and it will work fine for a while then the symptons will start again. If any one can help or give direction please let me know.
A/C on the passenger side is cool but vents on driver's side blow hot air. What could be causing this?
My problem is similar. Both sides of the front A/C vents are not very cool. But the passenger side is much cooler than the drivers side. The rear air is blowing very cold though. I am suspecting a leaking heater coolant valve letting hot water seep into the heater coils or the front controls failing to shut it properly.
Any help would be appreciated. Same make and model. Have not had it looked at.
Driver side warmer than passenger side in front. Rear ac seems fine. Had a similar problem a few years ago, but rear was blowing hot. It was factory defect, and fixed for free. Could this be related?
ac hot on one side and cold on thr other
rear ac blows cold, but the front does not blow at all
rear ac does not blow cold air
