1- Temperature sensor is the first to be replaced. When it is bad, it generates erratic signals hence the warning is on.
2- Also the bad sensor connector can give this symptom.
3- The heater in the cabin doesn't blow warm air since their is not coolant flowing through the heater coil. this indicates there is a blockage.
4- Has the engine got a new coolant since original one. It needs a complete flush through the heater coil.
5- If you have an overheat then this is a serious problem due to the water jacket gets clogged up. Need a professional shop to fix.
6- If you don't have an overheat problem then just doing # 4 will take care of your problem. Good luck.
Where do you read the constant temperature at 90?
If it is from your instrument then how true it is if the coolant sensor is bad?
My guess is your problem is in # 5. A quick check is to run the engine without Thermostat then feel the water pressure from the hose to see if there is coolant flow through it. You have to remove the thermostat, then put back the upper hose. If there is not flowing then the engine doesn't have an efficient cooling. Good luck.

what is the problem just not blowing warm air or something else
what are you diagnosing on the cooling system?
The warm air blowing system has been tampered with in the past and it is likely a wiring issue as no warm air comes out of the system even on 'HI', but I specifically have a problem with the engine coolant system. The warning consistently appears on the dash and usually appears after the 'OK' on startup. I have troubleshot the system, all appears working and normal, however the floating thermometer flashes permanently, and after pressing the pole button it states to shut off the engine check the coolant level. It is exactly where it should be, and the temperature stays at a constant 90.
Many thanks Doglt, I've a new sensor yet to be changed and I'll have the heater coil checked. I'll come back with the result
