Any known electrical problems with '97 Lincoln Town Cars? This one is in mint condition, however, over the course of several months there's no juice in the new battery. Dealership say's there's nothing wrong with the alternator - they can't find anything that would cause a drain on the battery, and they say the charging system is fine??

All door panels have a couple of screws and they can be cleverly concealed especially on expensive cars.

Those Lincolns are notorious for that,I'd just get a set of coil springs out of a Crown Victoria cop car(junk yard)and swap them out.Done it many times,you can do it in about an hour,and they'll never leak down again.By the way,there's some O-rings in that system.Make some soapy water and spray every connection,just maybe you'll get lucky.

yes the teft light will stop the vehicle from running. that is the pats system and can cause all sorts of trouble. if the light flashes fast its not reading the key. no start. if it turns on for two seconds and shuts off the it should start
