1994 Chevy cheyenne ext cab V6 4.3 and need wiring diagram from spark plugs to distributor cap to show rowtation.

Cannot find a diagram, but the firing order is 1 - 3 - 4 - 2. Looking at a picture, the #1 wire goes to the back of the distributor, just above the vacuum advance unit. With the distributor cap off, see which way the rotor turns, clockwise or counter clockwise, then follow the other plug wires based on this information.

I've uploaded a diagram that gives you the firing order for the 96 Chevy Cheyenne. The best way to find out which is number one in the firing order is to following the spark plug on the engine block back to the distributor cap. Number 1 is on the right side, closest to the front of the engine. Best of luck!

Use the diagram below and just match up the colors of the cylinders to the distributor cap for proper firing order. So starting at the black dot on cap and moving to the right the next cylinder is 4 the 2 the 5 the 3 then 6.

Here is the firing order for the 1994 Chevrolet Lumina APV Van with a 3.1 Liter engine with a distributor, and the 3.8 liter engine had the coil packs, and let me know if you need any help to understand this diagram, or if you require any further assistance.

Here is a diagram.

Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2 cyls. # 1-3-5 on drivers side front to back and cyls. # 2-4-6 passenger side front to back.

A diagram may not be needed as its a reasonably easy fix to do on your own.the distributor ca p will only fit on properly one way because at the base of the cap locaters can only fit the distributor if they line up.When doing the spark plug leads do them one at a time and if nessecary write or mark leads as 1,2 etc .The rotor can only fit on one way but put a mark on the distributor to show where the rotor was pointing when you took it off and if it still points there when the new one is fitted.When changing distributor cap and leads they have to go to the correct place.Pays to mark the outside of distributor cap where the locating bits are On the new and old one.Fit the new cap and rotor then take a spark plug lead and fit to new cap 1 at a time.You can tell by lining up the marks on the outside of the distributor cap when you hold them one on top of the other.Good luck
