Is it a "stick" in the console between the driver and passenger seats, or is it a pedal you push down? If it is in the center console, try starting the car, putting it from park into NEUTRAL with your foot on the brake, and pull up on the stick a little while pushing in the button. If the button goes in, push the handle back down, put the car back into park, and take your foot off the brake. I'm not real familiar with the Pacifica, so a description of the parking brake would help.

I have a 1975 Chrysler New Yorker. The parking brake pedal is stuck and I cannot move the car. Is there a manual override to release it?

If the cables are rusted they have to be replaced. try this tip , with the engine running and your right foot on the brake pedal , tap the hand brake pedal with quick jab of the left foot , this may release it .

My 2005 Chrysler 300 is stuck in park . What should I do ??

There is an electrically operated lock out that prevents you from taking it out of park unless you are pressing on the brake. If the brake switch is bad, or the solenoid is bad, it will not release out of park.
See if the solenoid at the shifter is getting current.
If not, it is the probably the brake switch.
If it is, then it is probably the solenoid.
But you can always just remove the lock out also.

How do i get the parking brake to release if it is stuck

find the parking brake cable and shake it all the way to the back of the car, if this does not loosen it then you might have to take the rear brakes off and replace the parking brake mechanism

Car stuck in Park, wont switch gears

check to see if the brake lights come on it may be a problem with a brake switch under the dash not letting the shift lock release. there may be a seperate switch just for it so check and see it there is two switches touching the brake pedal lever if the brake lights come on.
