Heat Shield is loose - it's flopping around. Sounds like an engine issue, but it's not.

I had the same problem on a '93 Altima & again on my 2003 Maxima a few months ago. A local garage fixed it for free both times. For the Altima, he just removed the shield. He advised that I do not park on high, dry grass as contact with the grass might start a fire (around here, cars are usually on pavement all the time - the grass thing was not an issue - and, there were no fires). On the 2003 Maxima, the garage was able to replace the rusted out clamp using some scrap material they had lying around. The heat shield was resecured into position. No more pinging.

I had Nissan take a look at the 2003 Maxima repair afterwards. They said the garage did a nice job.

Can i reset the antitheft system without a remote to a 2000 nissan maxima

You can do a hard reset by disconnecting the main battery. You can also call a tow truck to tip the car up to 45 degrees which will also automatically turn off the alarm. That said, if you do not have the remote entry dongle you'll want to replace it.

Find the fuse for the alarm and remove it. This will work unless it is a factory alarm that is connected to the door locks.

How do i get alarm code for my 1994 nissan/

The only thing I can think of is to go to dealer it came from or call the Nissan Company and tell them teh make and model of your vehicle and you might have to reset the alarm code. A local dealer may be able to help you with that.

2003 Nissan Maxima SE tachometer clock

Its not a clock its just calculates the time it took to make trip. The display at the bottom of the tachometer area is a "TRIP COMPUTER". It shows OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE, DISTANCE TO EMPTY, AVERAGE FUEL COMSUMPTION, AVERAGE SPEED and JOURNEY TIME. Press the "TRIP" button on the steering wheel to change through the modes. Holding the "TRIP" button for more than one second will reset the mode.

1995 Nissan Maxima alarm system

Hey, I bought my 1995 Nissan Maxima GLE brand new back in July 1994 with factory installed alarm, it just doen't make any sound when you arm or disarm it with remote. The only way you can tell whether it is armed or disarmed is from the lever position of your doors and the blinking red light under the dash. Only the newer versions of Nissan/Infiniti's has the "Audio/Silent" mode button on the remote which allows you to activate/deactivate you car alarm with an audiable sound or no sound at all. No worry, there is nothing wrong with your remote or car alarm.
