There are two oxygen sensors: one is upstream of the catalytic converter and one downstream of the catalytic converter. The oxygen sensor, or O2 sensor is usually located near the catalytic converter.Oxygen sensor downstream of the catalytic converter in the exhaust system on the back of the engine. ------- Thanks.Helpmech

Where is the front o2 sensor on 2005 dodge grand caravan 3.8

The code is for bank one sensor one which is the sensor in the exhaust pipe before the catalytic converter on the side with cylinder one.
Keep in mind the problem could be the heater in the sensor, or a wiring problem.

After fill ups, engine light indicates deffective 02 sensor bank1. On a '04, Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.8.

You must have duel exhast then. Bank 1 is the drivers side and you have a upper and lower o2 sensor. More than likely it is the upper o2 sensor that is the problem.

I can't find the o2 sensor on the 2005 dodge grand caravan. We changed the one on the catalytic convertor, but cannot locate the other o2 sensor. Please help with easy detailed description. Thanks

There is one in between the cat and the engine in the rear exhaust manifold and there is one right after the cat. The one in the rear exhaust manifold is not the easiest to see or change but it is there.

2005 dodge grand caravan 3.8 code P0135 I bought the oxegen senser but Iam wondering if it could be the egr valve needs to be cleaned. what do ya think

P0135 = O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1)

With no other symptoms other than the above code, I would think it was the O2 sensor.
