Locate your Positive Battery cable at the Battery. Now you can Trace the positive Cable right to your Starter under the car. Hope this Helps you Out.

Where is the starter relay switch in a 1996 oldsmobile

  1. Locate the relay panel: The relay panel is usually located near the battery and is often marked with a diagram of the various relays.
  2. Identify the starter relay: The starter relay is typically marked with an "S" or "ST" on the panel or cover.
  3. Check the wiring diagram: If you're having trouble locating the starter relay, refer to the vehicle's wiring diagram for help.
If you're still unable to locate the starter relay, it's recommended to consult a repair manual

Having trouble locating Starter on 2000 Ford Excursion 6.8L ,v10

Hi Sole:
Starter will be at the back of the engine and low. It may be easier to access from under the vehicle.
If you follow the heavy positive wire from the battery, past the solenoid, it ill go to the starter.

Replace starter motor in daihatsu pyzar

1997 Daihatsu Pyzar starter motor located bottom of engine bay at the back between engine and framework below front window of car

Its in a real nasty place

(see picture)

Very tight space and to remove both starter motor bolts, you need to access it from above engine and below engine

- Disconnect battery connections from battery first

- Disconnect wire from starter motor

- Remove starter motor bolts

- Remove starter motor via top of engine (lots of jiggling involved due to wires in the way etc)

Good luck!!

Locating the starter on 90 Ford Festiva

Hi? Let's give it a bash!
Look where your gearbox meets with the enjin, locate the bolts that holds enjin and g/box together. The starter motor is located there and the connecting bolts are inline with the above mentioned bolts, the starter motor bolts on to the g/box and is located on the top half of the gearbox, should easily be visible ( under the hood, not underneath the vehicle.
Alternatively follow the thick red wire from the battery possitive to the rear of the starter motor also note that there is a thinner red wire from battery possitive to the alternator.
I hope this advice is helpfull!
Regards.

Location of the starter in a 1996

I replaced the starter in my 95 sentra a couple years ago, the location should be the same in 95-99 models.
It should be centrally located in the front section of the car, maybe a little closer to the midsection than the front bumper. It's not easy to see or get to from under the hood. I went at it from under the car. If you have trouble finding it, look for its connection to the battery. There's not much room to work in, I'm pretty petite and had a little trouble getting to it.
