How do you turn on the external input, AUX input on the stereo in my 2007 vw jetta. the jack is located in the glove box. Its factory installed and the stereo head unit has a 6 disk indash changer. The manual says to hold down the CD button and it should switch the external input mode. when i do it, the cd mix option is activated.

SOURCE: Can I add a jack to play an ipod to my factory 6 cd stereo?

There are jacks in the back of your stereo. A car audio place can bring a jack to the front of the dashboard. I have the factory DVD player in my '04 Tahoe and I just bought an adapter wire to 2 RCA jacks and simply plugged it in where the exterior jacks are located to accomodate a game box. Plug it in - hit the little black button there - hit cd/aux on the dash and "Bob's your Uncle". Hope this helped.

Where is the orifice tube on a 2007 vw jetta 2.5

Your VW Jetta doesn't have an orifice tube, this system uses an Expansion Valve (see photo) it is located at the inlet to the AC Evaporator core. It is likely behind the glove box insert.

How do I get the MP3 player to work in a 2007 Nissan Quest?

you said CAN , i bet you meant CAN'T or CAN NOT. right?
the AUX port is just a line input, analog audio input,
it dont know MP3 .
it only amplies the analog audio found there.
you connect any device, to AUX. push play on the device.
then put car radio in to AUX input mode and play. the audio.
that is all there is to it.
the external device does all the heavy lifting, reading a file, and decoding it (mp3 decode) and then sends raw analog audio out.

the cable is sold and radioshack, or walfart or many other stores,
Target, most MP3 players, come with this cable,
they use mini phone plugs, stereo, type,. (3 contacts)

Where is the auxiliary input in 2007 sante fe elite

If you don't see anything on the radio saying "auxiliary output" with a little earphone jack then you aren't Aux ready.

You might be able to go to a stereo shop and have them install an auxiliary output plug. They will pull the factory stereo out and splice/plug in an output wire that you can plug your iPod into.
