How do i reset the engine control module in my 1995 jaguar vanden plas 4.0 will this reset ALL setings because i think this car needs it had 3 owners and cant seem to get memory and othe little things.

I'm not sure what you mean by "reset" but have a look for an OBDII / EOBD AUTO SCANNER (there's usually one or two on ebay.) Is that the sort of job you want to do?

Does anyone know if you can reset the master on a 1995 jaguar vanden plas,i did try taking the ground off for 15 secs and nothing changed,so if someone can help i'd appreciate it. thank you.

use a scanner connected to the data link connector.

Forget about fuse box id. Just test all fuses one by one with a test light until you find the bad one.

chances are your distributor got wet. open the distributor, dry the inside and clean the contacts with a piece of sand paper.. thats should give you the spark you need to get started.
if it isnt that check your coil.
your distributor looks like this,,

see its held by two spring clips, open the clips tp open the distributor,, clean it , clean the metal pins inside with sand paper,, put it back up..

I have an 95 jaguar an the battery went dead took the battery out to get another one close the trunk an now i cant get in the trunk cuz it want open cuz the battery is out what can i do

I think you must replace the battery with the new one
and the open the trunk

Leaking valve covers, 2000 jaguar vanden plas supercharged

no there is'nt enough pressure underneath to make it leak try tighting up the valve cover bolts or just getting a new gasket about a $6.00 to $10.00 dollar fix depending on where you go

HI, to locate the battery you need to open the boot/ trunk then look on one of the sides you should see a panel will pull open giving you access to the battery, from what i can remember its on the right hand side in the trunk/boot, have a look you should be able to find it now you know where you are looking.
