The fuse box is behind the glove box.You need to take the glove box out, which require a screwdriver.. The other fuse box is under the bonnet near the air filter. ----------------- In some newer model corolla ce car the location is as follows:---
To acess the fuse box that controls the radio you need to move your seat as far back as you can and then look above your pedals. There is a small black box there .Take the cover off and look on the cover where it says cig. That is the fuse that is blown or at least supposed to be blown. Check if your cigarete lighter works. If it does then that is not your problem.
-------- That will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Check under the driver's side dash board for the fuse box for the radio. It could be any of them so use a fuse tester to quickly (within 5 minutes) test all of the fuses that are energized and possibly bad or good as indicated by a tester that lights up on broken fuses.

To remove a fuse:

  • With glass cartridge or blade-type fuses, a special fuse removing tool can be used to remove a bad fuse.
  • Blade-type fuses are easy to remove by hand or with a needle nose pliers.
To replace a fuse:
  • Be sure to replace a fuse with the correct one for the application.
  • SFE (Society of Fuse Engineers) and all-glass cartridge (sometimes called "Bussman" or "Buss") fuses will interchange with one another, so care is required.
  • Be sure that the fuse is the correct rating. Too low an amp rating will result in burned fuses. Too high a rating can cause a fire.
  • Check the end of the fuse for its amp rating. The correct amp rating of the fuse to be used is listed on the fuse block.
  • Fuses are generally numbered, and the main components abbreviated.
Where do I find the fuse for the radio in a 2006 - f14-36.jpg Typical fuse box or panel.
  • On late-model cars, there may be icons or symbols indicating which circuits they serve. This identification system is covered in more detail in the owner's and service manuals.
NOTE To calculate the correct fuse rating, use Watt's law: watts ÷ volts = amperes. For example, if you are installing a pair of 55-watt fog lights, divide 55 by the battery voltage (12 volts) to find out how much current the circuit has to carry. Since 55 ÷ 12 = 4.58, the current is approximately 5 amperes. To allow for current surges, the correct in-line fuse should be rated slightly higher than the normal current flow. In this case, an 8- or 10-ampere fuse would do the job.NOTE It's advisable to carry an assortment of spare fuses in the glove compartment. It is difficult to know when one will blow. Also, you should learn borrow a fuse from a less critical circuit. For example, it is possible to do without power for the radio or air conditioner, if a fuse is needed for the headlights or brake lights. Make certain, however, that the fuse borrowed and later replaced has the same current rating. Remember that a blown fuse was caused by something going wrong. Replacing the fuse may or may not give a temporary solution to the problem.

I read that the fuse box can also be located on the passenger side and under the hood. Check all three places.

SOURCE: which is fuse for radio in 99 corolla ce

just look at your fues block with a flashlight and you will be able to see the blown fuse... look closely it might not be obvious at first. Another thing you can do is go to the store and purchase a fuse tester... a simple device that has a pair of pins (actually they usually have 2 pair, one for two different spacings) and an led... you put the pins against the fuse's exposed metal contacts on the flat back and if the fues is blown and the device is on, the led will light... you may have to buy a fuse kit to get the tester but they are well worth it, along with a fuse puller, if you are like me and have large fingers

SOURCE: Where is the fuse for the radio in the 2006 Toyota

hi if the fuse is not located in the fuse box under the hood try the aux fuse in the fuse box if this is ok then the problem could be either with the stereo itself or some stereo's have an inline fuse but to get to it you need to pull the stereo out and the fuse will either be in the back of the stereo or it will be inline on the live wire to the stereo you will be able to see it as soon as you pull the stereo out.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
