There are literally thousands of codes that can cause that light to come on. Auto Zone will scan the computer for free and give you any codes you have. We would need to know the codes to help you pinpoint the issue.
Testimonial: "ZX2Fast had the answer I needed, and told me where I could have my MIL indicator light checked for free, rather than paying the Dealer to check it! "
Some of the cheaper scanners can't pull manufacturer specific codes. You might have to have a shop or someone you know with an Xcal device with a Dodge tune pull the code for you.
The overflow bottle doesn't always accurately reflect actual coolant level. If your level is low that could set a special code that turns your MIL on but isn't readable by any scanner that isn't loaded with Dodge specific codes.
Thanks again ZX2Fast, I will bring my car to the dealer and have them scan it. Strangely enough tonight the light just turned off. I appreciate all your help with this problem!!

Thank you for your response ZX2Fast! No code comes up with the scan at all? I did notice that my fluid level on my radiator is almost to the minimum line, wondering if that could be it? MIL light is still on this morning, and vehicle seems to run fine. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Rob
Never did find out why the MIL light came on? It went off a day or two later. Thinking maybe something got wet in the automatic car wash, car is running fine now. Thanks again for your help ZX2Fast!
