I am about to install a new battery in my Toyota Echo (year 2002). Are there any precautions I must take with regard to any computer board this car may have? Or can I just hook it up, positive post first? Thank you, Roy Knispel

SOURCE: I need to find the pattern for the serpentine belt on my 2002 toyota echo

Did you check under the hood? There should be a decal w/ the proper routing of the belt somewhere in or around the engine compartment. If u can't find it, let me know, I'll try to get more info. countrycurt0

SOURCE: hi i have a 2002 toyota echo the passenger side

top up all of your fluid levels and run car at medium range of revs for up to 5 minutes. check if any fluids have dropped significantly. if i guessed at any it would be your brake fluid so take EXTREME caution as this will cause extremely unreliable and unresponsive brakes. it is also a corrosive a flamible liquid. however, if it isnt this check under the carpet of your car for a whole in the floor, or anyother places outside fluids could seep in around that area.

In hospital for over 1 year, my 2002 toyota echo was never started. Can I just siphon out of fill cap? What is best way to get rid of old gasoline. Thank you so very much.

how do you know the gasoline is bad? I have seen vehicles stand for several years and then start okay.Siphoning out through the filler cap is usually fairly hard to do as most cars today have a device in the neck of a tank to stop theft. If you really wanted to remove all the gas I would suggest using a hose of no more than half an inch in diameter. This may just fit down through the filler neck, you would have to play with it to be able to get it all the way to the bottom.

Rear seal links and I only have 88,000 miles. why

Only have 88K??! That is a good amount of miles to have on a car. I know it is a Toyota but things do start to go and things start to leak after a while on all cars. Your car is 10 years old- Its not new anymore. Things will start to leak over time and this is not unheard of. it is pretty much normal. Fix the leak and do regular matinance and you will get another 10 years and anothe 88k miles out of it.

How can I to change or regulate the RPMs in my toyota echo 2001. After a clean in the iac valve the RPMs of engine were changed in idle acceleration I hear that the engine is more accelerate that before of...

Idle is controlled through the on board computer and is not adjustable, however after u cleaned the system you need to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and then let the system relearn the idle speed, this takes about 30 miles of driving a combination of city and highway.
