2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring rear defroster light comes on but no power to rear defroster

If the whining noise is coming from under the hood, have all pulleys checked for wear. ( Alternator/tensioner/idler etc ). A bad pulley will whine. As for the rear defrost, check the wires that go to the back window. There will be one on each side of the rear glass. One may be seperated/broken from the glass causing the defrost not to operate

Replace the DRL (daytime running light) Module

just remove tire and tap drum with hammer should come off ....important take a photo of how this thing goes together.....or doomed

for the sliding door,check the wiring that is housed in the plastic chain at the bottom of the door.the problem with the window may be the switch in the driver door

2005 Chrysler T&C that has a front blower that just quit working. Pregnant wife doesn't feel safe since defroster will not work and heat is only coming from rear blower. Please help if you have any sugesions?

check the bulbs do not have fractured filaments,and check the headlamp relay.check the sockets for corrosion and if all that checks out ok check the connection on the back of the headlight switch and the daytime running light module

Sounds like you need a starter, or you have a loose wire somewhere under the hood.

yes ...it is a supposed safety feature

If they are stuck on defrost,then the problem is a little vaccum line that comes through the firewall as all the climate controls are vaccum controlled,so look for a small green or black plastic line unhooked.
