Coolant i have a 2005 dodge caravan 3.3l v6 the coolant res continues to empty out. i have filled it 3 times in the last 3 months the dealer said noting wrong. it has overheated on me once
Check the rear heater lines on the right side(passenger side) of the van. there is a rubber hose that was leaking on mine. I found it after the dealer said nothing was wrong. It did not cost anything for repair as they had a service note on it.

Aug 13, 2014 - I hear this bubbling sound when I turn the engine off. It occasionally ... When the engine is hot and the coolant is boiling, open your hood and have a look around. DO NOT try ... 2005 chrysler neon clunking noise from front end.Missing: dodge
Could possibly need a new thermostat, the thermostat opens and closes depending on the heat of the coolant. maybe also check your heating core. as well as the quality of you coolant.
Look in the radiator in the morning when car is cold take off the cap if it is full then look at the reservoir and make sure you see to lines on it one you fill to when cols the other you fill to when how it will say hot and cold fill lines fill yo cold when it is cold then next day check and see when cold if it is at the same mark
The cooling system capacity is listed as 10.6 U S quarts. The coolant should be mixed at a 50/50 ratio...half water and half coolant. I hope this helps.
THERE WAS A SOFTWARE ISSUE FOR THE BODY CONTROLLER FOR 04-05 CARAVANS..A SOFTWARE UPDATE WAS AVAILABLE TO CORRECT CONDITION..PRETTY SURE DEALER IS ONLY ONE THAT CAN PERFORM UPDATE..TAKES ABOUT 1/2-1 HOUR TO COMPLETE..HAVE ALSO SEEN SWITCH PROBLEMS AND BODY CONTROLLER ITSELF WAS PROBLEM..CONTACT YOUR LOCAL DEALER..THEY CAN CHECK AND SEE IF NEEDS UPDATE..I HOPE THIS HELPS
Replace the bad radiator hose first. Â Second- get you special formulated anti-freeze dye from the auto store and pour it into the radiator. Â Third- make sure you got all the air pockets out of your system, cause the coolant system won't work with air pockets in it. Â Fourth- Check for leaks by looking for the colored dye. Â If it's not the radiator hose, then could possibly be a pin hole in your radiator. Â Would suggest replacing all the radiator hoses at the same time while you got the coolant system disconnected, cause you don't want to have to come back and replace another hose in a few months.
its a pitcock facing the cab bottom of the radiator, plastic flat. once you find the pitcock just put a bucket underneath and turn it.then refill. if you want to flush(run fluid thru to clean it out) the radiator id suggest taking it in. you dont have to flush it every time you change the coolant out.
