The "Green" wire from the after-market tachometer will connect to the (-) negative side of the ignition coil.

The "Red" wire from the tachometer will connect to an ignition source that has power only when the key is in the "Run" and "Start" position, usually at a "IGN" source on the fuse panel.

The "Yellow" or "White" wire from the tachometer will connect to the instrument panel lighting fuse in the fuse panel usually marked "LPS" or "IP" and there should be a source next to the instrument panel lighting fuse to connect the wire.

The "Black" wire should be connected to a good body ground, and if the tachometer is not properly grounded anyone sitting in the vehicle while the engine is running will receive a mild electric shock from the ignition coil primary voltage whenever anything metal inside of the vehicle is touched.

For the "Green" wire from the tachometer, that should connect to a Brown/Red or a Blue/Yellow wire at the coil pack on your vehicle. Be certain that you tap into the wire and do not cut it apart. The wire can be tested using a simple test light, and with the engine running the test light should flash or pulse indicating a dwell signal.

I amcurrently searching for a diagram to wire up my RPM gage but I don't know where to put the wires!!!! I really need help!! thx:)

The RPM guage (tachometer) reads the spark impulses from ground terminal of the high voltage sending unit. I've never had to install a tach on an Accent, but for the most part the wire (on other model Hyundai's) is green and connects to the distributor primary or negative (-) side of the ignition coil. And then to the Tach terminal. Do not connect to coil on If yours is an MSD ignition, do NOT connect to the coil!!. Some electronic ignitions have a tach terminal on the ignition box, the green wire may connect there. Hpe this helps....

I need to find a wiring diagram for a 99 hyundai accent

Which wires do you need to re-connect? Bbattery cables: red/postive will connect to your starter/solenoid and the black/negative cable will be connected to your chassis by a bolt in the engine compartment.
