Now, let's review the procedures to replace the spark plugs on the 2004-2005 5.7L HEMI engine ... eight of the 16 spark plugs are located under an ignition coil, those coils will have to be removed.

under the map sensors. sits about 4-5 inches down. 16 spark plugs if its a hemi. some of them can be a pain to get to. need a couple universal sockets.

if problems with hard start check heating coil in the intake side left on engine no spark plugs please dont even go to autozone n ask u look like a fool

Hi: I would use the NGK Plugs Myself:
Spark Plug is a NGK-Laser-Platinum
(NGK PART # 4997) You Know Theres 2 Plugs Per Hole. I Think you'll Be Very Saisfied with These Plugs.

you can change the spark plugs enery 18000 - 20000 miles. take care.

there are indeed 16 plugs in the hemi engine. 8 of which are under the 8 ignition coils the other 8 are under the wires coming from the coils. You may have to remove some air filter tubing or engine covers to remove the coils, wires and plugs. good luck

YOU COULD BE HAVING ENGINE MISFIRE.DUE TO BAD SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES.ALSO DIRTY FUEL INJECTORS WILL CAUSE ENGINE TO ROUGH IDLE OR IDLE UP AND DOWN.PUT A BOTTLE OF FUEL INJECTOR CLEAN IN A FULL TANK OF GAS.ALSO CHANGE PLUGS AND WIRES.IF TRUCK HAS 30000 TO 60000 MILES ON IT.THATS THE SCHEDULE MAINTENCE INTERVALS IF SPARK PLUGS HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED.
