When a power steering pump begins to fail, it's best to replace the pump and both pressure and return hoses to this system.
Recommend you replace this as soon as possible because it could eventually cause damage to your steering rack and pinion.
there is a belt on the front of the engine that drives the various items like alternator, water pump, air conditioner and power steering pump-the power steering pump is the only accessory that has a reservior with a cap on it-look for it and turn the cap counter clockwise, it has a small dipstick on it. fill the reservior to the full level using the dipstick.
the reservior is located under the altenator by the firewall. The cap of the reservior has a dipstick built on to it. using a funnel with a long neck, fill to the level on the stick. It just take a little time. hope this helps
The easiest way to locate your "power steering reservior" is to first locate your serpentine belt and then follow this belt to this reservior. The reservior will have a pulley for the serpentine belt.
