92 vw jetta,wont start,runs for3 seconds,when i turn ignition switch on,nodash lights,only battery light appears,no other lightslightup like before,locks work,dont understand what to do now

Is this a 92 Jetta like you describe or a 02 Jetta TDI? If it's a 92 Jetta, I can almost guarantee the ignition switch is bad. Common failure. They're cheap, but require special tools and experience to remove.

Where is ignition coil located in 2004 jetta

  • Remove the ground battery cable from the negative terminal battery post. This prevents sparks, which can cause an fire, when metal tools make contact with the engine. Also, set your emergency brak engen.

  • Determine which type engine you have. The 1.8L awd 1.8L (Aww and Awp) and the 2.8L (Bdf) require slight variation in the replacement process.

  • Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the engine cover in place. Then lift off the cover.

  • Expose the Jetta ignition coil. On a 1.8L (AWD) engine, you need to remove the recirculating valve and the secondary air inlet valve and their mounting systems. For the 1.8L (Aww and Awp) engine, you take off the hex nut and vacuum reservoir. The 2.8L (Bdf) engine doesn't require the removal of additional components.

  • Unscrew the retainers securing the Jetta ignition coil.

  • Separate the old ignition coil from the cylinder head. On the 2.8L (Bdf) engine, use Puller T10095 to release the Jetta ignition coil. You may need to twist the ignition coil to break the seal between the parts

    Rear Brakes 2005 Jetta

im sorry bro i find that you needing special tools a load of bs. i may be wrong but i really really doubt it. brakes are easy. first locate the caliper and there should be 2 bolts holding that tight. loosen the top bolt and then take out the lower bolt from the caliper. the old pads should just fall out. remove the master cylinder cap. (the jug with brake fluid in it.) compress the piston replace the old pads and push the claiper back down on the rotor. tighten bolts back up pump the brakes till hard with the car off and then repeat for the other side.

Haven a hard time changing my low beam for my 2004 tdi vw jetta

This should not be very difficult. Remove the back cover of the light. Twist the old bulb and pull out. Remove plug. plug new one in and twist into place. Replace cover.

The battery side is a very tight squeeze, you may need to remove the battery. But, I was able to do it by just taking off the battery cover.
