I cannot pump gas into my 2003 hyundai tiburon v6, without it stopping every .5gallons. When pumping gas the pump auto shuts off constantly, turning a 5 min visit to the gas station into a 15-20 min tedious task. I have tried several diff pumps, angles in pumping the gas and varying rates at which i pump the gas. Problem started roughly a month ago after i let the car sit for a week.

Try moving the handle in a different position, or don't put the nozzel all the way in. The vent tube could be clogged.

SOURCE: 2003 Hyundai Elantra won't start.

Has similar problem, just got back from the shop and they said it's the neutral safety switch.

Tip on starting even with a broken switch:
1.) Turn the key all the way to start position (you will hear the gas pump humming and all the lights should be on)
2.) press the clutch pedal all the way down (if it starts, then it's fine, if not, proceed to step 3)
3.) release the pedal slowly and just slightly (an inch or so).
-->on the first try, you should hear a slight click and feel the car moving slightly. That's the point where the car tried to start.
4.) Repeat step 3 for several times if the car doesn't start until you are able to grasp that exact point and once you hear that click, hold the clutch at that point and the engine should fire away.

Of course this is just for temporary counter measure, I have to do this because this is my commuter car and I got to find a way to have a reliable and predictable start. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. Won't start. no sound

Start from scratch.
Does the battery have 12 volts across the terminals? If yes, then does the starter click when you turn the key? If no, replace the battery.
If the starter clicks when you turn the key, but the engine doesn't crank, replace the starter.
If no click, then check for power at the starter solenoid.
If there is power at the solenoid, but no click when you turn the key, check the starter relay. If none of this fixes your problem, you may want to have your mechanic check for broken or corroded wires

Why does the gas pump cut off every 1/2 to 1 gallon on my 2003 Hyundai Accent, at slow pump even when the tank is nearly empty. It doesn't matter what station I go to.

Failure in the Evap System

Check for Evap Codes & diagnose that system

Most likely a failed evap vent solenoid

Hello i have a 2003 tiburon gt v6 auto, and has been shutting off randomly while driving, like theres no electricity then it just comes back to life...i dont know where to start

IS it a stick or auto shift?. If it an auto shift it sounds like a bad map sensor. It is mounted in the air intake system. Any check engine light when this happens?

I have a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon that is overheating. How can I tell if I have a bad water pump or if it could be the thermostat. Does not appear to be a radiator leak or hose leak, but I am constantly...

If it's overheating it will lose antifreeze.I would change the thermostat first and see it it solves the overheating problem if not then worry about the water pump. Thermostats are only $7-10.
